SMILE

We are working on one instrument of the satellite SMILE, to be launched in 2021. It will observe the interactions between the solar wind and the magnetosphere of the earth. This satellite will embark two Chinese instruments. We are involved with the University of Calgary, Canada, in the optical design, coatings of the mirrors, calibration and tests of the instrument UVI that will observe the aurorae in the UV.
