CSL runs two high capacity shakers that are operated in a clean environment (from ISO 7 to ISO 5 upon request).

Vibration Test Facilities

IMG 1456s IMG 1470s

Doing vibration and thermal vacuum qualification of an optical flight instrument at the same clean room is a unique advantage for any customer.

Vibration test purposes:

  • To qualify lightweight and heavyweight sub-systems
  • To simulate launch induced vibrations
  • To realize a dynamical signature
  • To measure interface force
  • To realize fatigue test

Sine, random and shock tests can be realized. The 3 axes shakers are realized sequentially.

A M+P control system is used with automatic notching. The acquisition is done by 96 channels combined with a wide selection of accelerometers.
