Among the various measurement techniques, the optical label-free affinity biosensing appears the most appropriate approach for bio detection requirements.

n these detection methods, the liquid sample containing the target molecules passes over the surface chemically functionalized with the biorecognition elements. The target molecules binding to the biorecognition layer modifies its optical response proportionally to the amount of the binding events. Consequently, the target molecules presence in the liquid sample, as well as its concentration is determined by measuring the change in the optical properties of the biorecognition layer.

Thanks to our team’s expertise and experience, we have developed a range of original affinity plasmonic-related (SPR-LSPR) biosensing approaches dedicated to microfluidic, as well as droplet biochemical sensing, [1, 4, 9, 14-15, 23-24, 33-34, 41, 53, 55]. The main advantage of the developed biosensor instrumentations is an exceptionally high sensitivity in quantitative analysis of biochemical samples.
